THE GIFT OF SONGBIRD

Summer with Grandmom and Poppy felt like spending time in a 
land far away from the way everybody else did things. There were no televisions. . . yak-king.No trucks and cars... honk-mg.No jets ... zooming. I thought it was too quiet.One day after dinner we three sat together in the big wooden swing on the back of their porch.
