About Janet

Janet Kato

Janet studied private voice in association with the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music and has been able to take her accumulated experiences to help teach the art of singing.

This lifelong work has led to her current involvement in bringing music to the bedside. She uses crystal singing bowls as instruments to accompany her, as well as the sonorous alto flute. She is also frequently asked to bring her unique music to local art exhibits, poetry readings, and weddings as well.

She has written, recorded and produced four Storybook CDs, as well as co-produced an anthology of poems, "Streams", and "The Singing Water" musical CD.
